Its almost finished!

Congratulations, nearly there - its starting to look more like a part of your home and you are starting to be able to imagine the walls painted and the furniture in position.

Before it is finished its always easy to pick up on small details that you think aren't finished yet, or need sorting - instead of pestering your builder as he is trying to finish, try not to pester him with small things that he may well have alreadu noticed an have noted to sort out. Agree a stage near completion to walk around with him and carry out a pre-completion snagging list. This way he will have more chance of still have sufficient or correct labour on site to carry out his bits and pieces, meaning they will be done quicker.
