Builder

If you are looking to employ a 'builder' they will more often than not take on the entire project, manage each individual trade (sub-contractors) as well as carry some of the work out themselves.

By employing a builder you should really only have one main point of contact and one or two people to work with and manage the project, they will then take care of the labour, plant and material ordering and quantifying. There will often be a premium to pay for this, as the organisation takes time, however, if they are on a fixed and agreed price, there are also liable for any error they may have made in pricing and will be responsible for this.

The trades or sub-contractors required below will be organised by your builder.
