The same simple process is required, the information should all be on your plans and as you are at this stage the answers should be easier than at pre-planning! When you have done this your detailed budget will break down the building and stage process, and you can then use this as your pricing schedule by removing the prices and saving a 'blank' version. So now all your builders have the same layout and breakdown to price - helping you spot any large differences that may be a mistake or not by your builder. (an incorrectly positioned decimal point can often be costly for either builder or customer, so these should all be checked, aslong with the adding up etc to make sure it all tallies).
