Second Fix

The second fix stage of your project will involve the plumber, carpenter and electrician.
With the first fix complete and the plastering done, each of these trades will then return to site to carry out the second fix work.

Plumbing - this will involve the radiatiors being fitted, radiator valves, taps, sanitaryware, sinks etc - basically connecting all the pipework installed at first fix stage to the appliances they were set out for.

Electrician - Will return and fix sockets, switches, light fittings and connect eth power

Carpenter - Will fit doors, skirtings, architraves, door handles

When each of these trades have completed the second fix, the project should then be ready for painting - it is always worth trying to getthe painter in or for you to paint areas that will be aharder to aget to when the second fix is complete such as areas behind radiators!
