Service Trenches and Ducts

Depending on the deisgn and size of your extension, and where the services (electric, gas, BT, water etc) come into your property there may be some work involved in diverting or moving these services.
If this is the case, you will need to contact the relevant service and get them to price for any work that is required in making the connections etc. If this is the case your builder will most likely dig the trenches and install ducting for the service. This involves digging a suitable trench, and laying a duct in the trenceh, the service then install the cabling or pipe into the duct when it is time and the project is ready for making the connections.
